Keep up the great work!

Hi boys and girls! I hope that you are all enjoying your summer! I am so proud of all your efforts and how much great reading you are doing. You are reading some of my favorite books, Nancy Drew, Judy Blume - I enjoyed reading all of them! I always enjoyed Judy Blume books because I felt like the characters in her books were going through some of the things I was going through- trouble in school, a fight with a brother or sister, making a tough decison. Is that true for you? I am reading mysteries this summer. I love to keep track of the clues using post its or a time line. I like to challenge my self to keep up with the detective! As you write your posts remember to tell how you feel about the books you are reading, what it reminds you of, how you connect to the book or one of the characters- make those text to self, text to text or text to world connections.
